Dannie Yin

Dannie is a PhD student in the Cellular and Molecular Biology program who is interested in studying the genetic events and mutational mechanisms of the fungal pathogen Candida albicans. She has a background in bioinformatics and microbiology, having previously worked with Dr. Schroeder to advance an expression database of Arabidopsis thaliana and with Dr. Bennett to investigate how aneuploidy in C. albicans affects colony color phenotypes on CHROMagar.
